As Principal Designer under CDM 2015, we have applied the Regulations since first enacted in 1994. We act as CDM advisor to designer or client duty holders undertaking and adding value to additional duties.
Monitoring the performance of the Principal Contractor, our CDM advisors visit site, attend project meetings, review hazard registers and the control of high risk work plus competent construction safety oversight.

We provide strategic guidance to duty holders on policy, responsibility and appointments. Our unique CDM Duty Holder Audit offers a further level of governance, at appointment review.

Capita has extensive experience in disability assessment and support.
It delivers the Access to Work contract on behalf of the Department of Work and Pensions for the Central, North West and North East regions and has a dedicated team of expert assessors for this.
We also deliver Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) needs assessments through 22 fully-equipped assessment centres across England and provide assessment services in Northern Ireland. Capita also provide one-to-one dyslexia tuition and mental health mentoring to disabled students in receipt of DSA funding in the South of England.
