From inception to delivery, we apply our combined property and infrastructure expertise to achieve more from the entire built environment.
Deborah McLaughlin, Head of Housing Delivery and Strategy, is a confirmed panel member for the Construction Summit North on 13 September. The conference begins at 8:45am in the New Adelphi Theatre, University of Salford, University Road, Salford M5.
Now in its fourth year, the summit will connect 400 delegates with some of the biggest names in the industry and will provide a unique opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the region and across the UK construction sector. Organised by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the University of Salford the summit will explore how the Government’s industrial strategy, regional devolution and the affordable homes programme will shape the North’s property sector in the years to come.
Deborah will be taking to the stage at 3:05pm; she will be part of a panel discussion “Housing current challenges and strategic frameworks”.
Central to this session are the twin issues of demand and supply. Will we ever be able to build enough homes to satisfy demand? If we can, where will they be built? How will they be built? To what quality? And to what extent do we have the framework in place to train and recruit the workforce required?
