17th April 2018

We are delighted to be the Gold sponsor for the UK Infrastructure Show 2018 on Tuesday 17 April at the NEC in Birmingham, our stand number is 24.

Infrastructure is the foundation upon which our economy is built. The Government remains determined to deliver better infrastructure across the UK to help grow the economy and improve opportunities. With a newly released national infrastructure pipeline of over £600 billion in projects to be completed over the next 10 years, the infrastructure industry represents a significant opportunity for businesses of all sizes.

"Seizing the opportunity"
Bob Halsey, Paul Wadsworth and Paul Woods will take to the stage in the Moving Zone at 12:05pm to discuss "Seizing the opportunity"

Investing and supporting new infrastructure is an essential part of regeneration, unlocking new opportunities for investment and development. In this session our panel of experts will explore some of the new trends that are emerging and how these are affecting the delivery of major UK projects.

- Paul Woods, Director, Real Estate Advisory, GL Hearn
What are the key planning decisions that need to be made to realise these new projects and opportunities? How might we be able to accelerate these decisions? How do transport hubs help deliver value and what commercial benefit are we seeing as a result of these developments?

- Paul Wadsworth, Director, Capita Real Estate & Infrastructure
Intelligent Transport Systems are revolutionising performance and our control of highway infrastructure. What will be the major trends that we will see over the next two to three years and what are the major decisions that we need for these to be properly progressed? How might this help us create better cities and places?

- Bob Halsey, Director, Capita Real Estate & Infrastructure
Delivery of major infrastructure programmes and projects is no longer about single partner delivery. What have we learned about collaboration and consortiums? What makes a good partner relationship?

Sessions in this zone will cover some of the biggest transport infrastructure projects in the UK, including HS2 and Crossrail 2.
