Capita Appointed to Upgrade Marylebone Underground Station

12th May 2014

Capita has been appointed to upgrade Marylebone station on the London Underground.

The company’s role, which was procured through the LUL Principal Design Delivery Partner Framework, will be to develop the designs for the modernisation and improvement of the station as part of LUL’s £330M station stabilisation programme which will see 70 stations upgraded over the next ten years.

We have now commenced design mobilisation for Marylebone which will take the design to RIBA Stage F1. Framework contractors will then be appointed to undertake the work and we expect to support the design delivery phase right up to handover to LUL.
