Capita has appointed James Beresford to the operations board in its real estate division.
James, who will focus on the growth of Capita’s investment and agency teams, has been a consultant for the past year, providing services to Mountgrange, Clearbell and Capita Asset Services.
Previous to that he spent six years with Highcross where he was investment director and before that spent six years as an investment agent with Nelson Bakewell.
Alan Dornford, managing director – real estate, Capita, commented: “We are delighted to have brought James into Capita. We’ve made huge strides in the growth of our investment and agency division over the past 18 months and are looking to build on that momentum. James brings great experience and an invaluable client side perspective that will further develop our offer.
"Capita, outside of real estate, have a huge reach into the public and private sector in the UK and internationally. James will be aligning our business with the relationships and opportunities that this broader activity brings.”
James Beresford commented: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Capita. I worked with them as a client and see a great opportunity to build on the company’s breadth of service, client and contact base.”
James is among several key appointments that Capita has made this year as it makes big strides in the growth of the real estate business.
