Capita Appoints James Beresford to Operations Board to Grow Investment and Agency Teams

Capita has appointed James Beresford to the operations board in its real estate division.

James, who will focus on the growth of Capita’s investment and agency teams, has been a consultant for the past year, providing services to Mountgrange, Clearbell and Capita Asset Services.

Previous to that he spent six years with Highcross where he was investment director and before that spent six years as an investment agent with Nelson Bakewell.

James is among several key appointments that Capita has made this year as it makes big strides in the growth of the real estate business.

Recent hires include:

  • Piers Leigh and Chris Barrs, agency directors, joined in May (from JLL)
  • Gareth Belsham, director for building consultancy, joined in May (from EC Harris)
  • John Shaw, Retail investment director, joined in August (from CBRE)
  • Brent Evans, solutions director for corporate real estate, joined in August (from CBRE)
  • Stuart Bundock, sales and frameworks director, joined in September (from Interserve)
  • Jeremy Day, director of corporate real estate solutions, joined in September (from JLL).
