The majority of Capita's London-based property and infrastructure teams have now relocated to a new London HQ building at 65 Gresham Street.
Capita has signed a ten year deal to sub-lease approximately 100,000 sq ft of office space from JP Morgan at Gresham Street, which is close to the Bank of England and the historic Guildhall in the City of London.
The business has now relocated more than 450 staff from its 1 Procter Street and 125 Shaftesbury Avenue offices to Gresham Street. ESA Design - Capita's architecture business - will remain at its Wells Street offices near Oxford Street.
The company's real estate team led the property search and negotiated the lease on the building, and has project managed the fit-out and move logistics. Working with staff, its strategic property and workplace team has developed and implemented an agile working strategy which has created a flexible and collaborative working environment for its multidisciplinary teams.
Overall, over 1,000 Capita plc employees occupy 65 Gresham Street, with the property and infrastructure business on its 4th floor being joined by employees from Capita’s employee benefits, insurance services and workplace services businesses on its 5th and 6th floors.
