Capita has been shortlisted in the Construction/Project Management Consultant and Engineering Consultant categories the 2014 Construction News Awards.
2013 was another big year for the company’s project management team. It followed up its project and cost management work on the London 2012 Olympics by delivering yet more complex and iconic schemes including the £188.8m Library of Birmingham and the £70m ‘Sixty’ scheme at Holborn Viaduct in central London.
In structural, civil, mechanical & electrical, process, and geo-technical engineering Capita is continuing to earn plaudits for consistently producing great work on complex projects across all sectors - from blue-chip commercial property portfolios to major schemes for local and central government.
The company is/has been working on HS2; Crossrail; the A556 Knutsford to Bowdon Bypass, a new four mile dual carriageway that will connect the M6 and M56 in south east Manchester; the centrepiece sculpture at Goodwood 2013; Diamond Light Source, the UK’s national synchrotron facility; Lord’s Cricket Ground; Lancashire Country Cricket Ground; a 6km pipeline under the Humber Estuary; as well as providing m&e services on the new £188.8m Library of Birmingham.
