Capita’s health and safety team hosted its seventh annual Litigation lecture at the Royal College of Surgeons in London recently.
Over 100 legal counsels, solicitors and other industry professionals attended the event which explored the landmark ‘Princes Sporting Club’ trial, the fifth case of corporate manslaughter in the UK.
Speakers included Duncan Penny QC who gave the prosecution perspective, and Ben Compton QC and James Leonard who analysed the defence.
A review of the lecture by Nick Barnard from Russell Cooke Solicitors is available here, along with the lecture pack.
