Capita’s Martyn Watkins will be speaking at the Westminster Social Policy Forum’s ‘The future for affordable rent and social housing’ seminar which takes place this Thursday (5th June) at the Congress Centre, 28 Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3LS.
The seminar will look at how the demand for social housing can be met and the future for affordable housing for rent. Following the launch of an independent review that will look into how councils are making sufficient use of their existing powers and flexibilities to deliver social housing, delegates will consider the next steps for affordable rent, with the new Affordable Homes Programme aiming to build 165,000 new homes between 2015 and 2018.
Martyn will be speaking in the 10.20am slot entitled ‘Developing a new approach to affordable housing for rent.’
