Capita has made three new senior appointments.
Jonny Stevenson joins as a senior surveyor in the company’s development consultancy and land agency team. He joins from Savills where he was a surveyor within its London development and regeneration team.
A qualified chartered planning and development surveyor and a licentiate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Jonny has provided development consultancy advice to a range of private and public sector development clients. Projects include the £30m Athena Building in Stratford, London; the £20m St George’s Hospital development in Hornchurch, London; and the Churchway gardens scheme in Camden.
He has also advised the Church of England Pension Board on its portfolio and Price Waterhouse Cooper on the disposal of its Longmint portfolio of residential ground rents.
At Capita Jonny will be working with Paul Clark and Jonathan Harris on a wide variety of consultancy and agency instructions for both the public and private sectors. Paul Clark, Development Director, says of the appointment “we are delighted to have Jonny join our growing team and look forward to drawing on his experience and skills to help deliver a comprehensive service to an increasing number of clients.”
Capita’s Development team is currently advising on projects with a combined residual land value in excess of £1.5billion. Due to a series of recent instructions, including the imminent start of Capita’s DIO SBP contract, this is expected to rise steadily throughout the rest of the year.
Les Leyland has joined as a director in Capita’s corporate team. An accomplished property and facilities manager with over 20 years experience, Les will be responsible for managing compliance on Capita’s property contract with National Grid.
Les, who has been contracting with Capita since last November, previously worked at National Grid where he managed several teams and contractor frameworks including in facilities management and land remediation.
Les has a proven track record in managing operational delivery across complex multi site portfolios comprising corporate offices, operational facilities, vacant land and tenanted sites. His skills include change management, estate rationalisation, business improvement, programme and project management, health and safety, environment and security.
Adrian de Vooght has joined the company’s banks technical advice team. Adrian's skills and grasp of languages (he’s fluent in French and Spanish) will greatly strengthen Capita's Banks Technical Adviser (BTA) offering at a crucial point in the development of the French PPP market.
He has worked in technical and environmental advice for over ten years, leading the delivery across all transaction stages and will be responsible for Capita's established transaction portfolio in France and for growing market penetration of the BTA Team in French speaking areas of the world.
