Capita’s regional partnership with Southampton City Council is project managing the development which comprises the demolition of 1960s era buildings and the construction of a mixed-use residential and retail scheme.
Due for completion by the summer of 2015, the Bouyges project includes 40 apartments for private sale, 30 affordable flats, a new library and community space, a Co-Op supermarket and two other retail units, plus 98 parking spaces.
Capita also managed the removal of asbestos from the various properties as well as the removal of Japanese Knotweed from the site. Capita’s ecology team also undertook an aboricultural and ecology survey.
