Capita’s property and infrastructure business today announces it has signed a five-year collaboration agreement with Ineco, a Spanish-based transport engineering and consultancy company.
The new collaboration agreement expands upon Capita and Ineco’s existing joint venture, formed in 2011, to undertake work on the UK High Speed 2 project, Lot 1 Civils Country North Section.
The new collaboration agreement formalises both organisations’ commitment to proactively work together on opportunities relating to all UK rail infrastructure projects.
Capita has more than 30 years' experience in the rail industry providing integrated design solutions, from concept creation right through to operation, while Ineco has been instrumental in the successful delivery of the most extensive and low cost high speed rail network in Europe. Our clients, such as HS2, have undoubtedly benefitted from the blend of skills, capabilities and capacity we can offer for projects of any size or specialism through the existing joint venture. We are delighted to be building upon this relationship and opening up new opportunities for both our organisations and also clients in the future.
