Capita appoints Drew Ritchie as head of infrastructure

15th April 2015

Capita’s property and infrastructure business has appointed Drew Ritchie as its new head of infrastructure.

Drew has over 20 years of experience across the rail, construction, highways, airports, industrials and energy sectors. He brings a broad knowledge of the infrastructure market and a track record of successfully running business and exploiting growth markets. He joins Capita from running his own consultancy business, providing strategic and corporate development advice to a number of major civil engineering contractors.

Drew has held positions for some of the UK’s most prominent engineering and infrastructure companies, including chief operating officer for Currie & Brown, major projects and programmes director (EuMENA) at Balfour Beatty, and head of rail for Amey. He has been responsible for a range of infrastructure and construction projects in the UK, including the construction of the Aquatic Centre for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the redevelopment of King’s Cross Station for London Underground Limited.

Capita's infrastructure offering is expanding fast, and it's a great time to be stepping into the business. I am excited to be joining a company that is working to introduce so much innovative technology to the infrastructure world. The senior management team and I will be looking to build on the successes of the past couple of years, driving organic growth and delivering world-leading infrastructure for our customers.

We are thrilled that Drew will be joining Capita. Drew's expertise will support our growth both organically and through attracting new customers.
