Capita has been nominated in two categories at tonight’s ACE (Association for Consultancy & Engineering) 2015 Engineering Excellence Awards.
The company has been nominated in the ‘Building Structures (over 250 employees)’ category while its Trinity Road Seawall project in North Tyneside has been nominated in the ‘Transport Infrastructure’ category.
The awards, which have been running since 1985, showcase best practice and innovation from across the engineering sector.
Chair of the judging panel Geoff French, immediate past President of ICE said: “ACE Engineering Excellence Awards once again highlights the great work being performed by our member companies in the UK and globally. This year’s judges were extremely impressed by the entries which highlighted the finest examples of best practice in the consultancy and engineering sector. The awards showcase both innovation and hard work and present a superb opportunity for companies and individuals to be recognised by their peers. All shortlisted entries demonstrated remarkable technical achievement and the endeavour to continually deliver excellence in their areas of expertise"
The winners will be announced at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
