Capita’s property and infrastructure business has appointed Samantha Davis as a director in its Blackburn office.
The new appointment has been made in response to the Blackburn office’s growing education portfolio.
Samantha, an experienced charted surveyor, has returned to Capita following two years at AA Projects Ltd. She will lead on the growth of Capita’s academy and further education projects in the region, supported by a multi-disciplinary team based across Blackburn, North Tyneside and Colwyn Bay.
Samantha has previously secured capital funding and led on the development and delivery of estate strategies for a number of colleges and academies across the UK, helping them to identify rationalisation and growth opportunities.
Paul Unsworth, operations director in Blackburn for Capita’s property and infrastructure business, said: “It’s my pleasure to welcome Samantha back to Capita. She has a wealth of experience in developing projects and securing funding for academies and colleges – and has been involved in the delivery of hundreds of education programmes across the UK.
“She will provide our education clients with a much welcome funding and property specialist and play a critical role in their future education projects.”
