Capita’s property and infrastructure business has appointed Peter Webb as a divisional director within its real estate division.
Peter will join the company’s retail property management team where he will help to oversee the seven shopping centres and retail parks that Capita manages in the north of England and Scotland.
Peter has over 25 year’s property and asset management experience in the UK shopping centre real estate market, including working for Guardian Properties in London and the Scottish Widows Investment Partnership in Edinburgh. He has worked on a number of high profile projects, including London's Covent Garden Market and Princes Square in Glasgow. In total, Peter has worked on 30 schemes with a collective value in excess of £1.7bn, covering over 8.1m sq. ft. with nearly 1,700 tenancies.
Peter said: “There couldn’t be a better time to be joining Capita’s retail property management team. As we build up our presence in Scotland and the North even further, I’m looking forward to supporting the expansion of the business and delivering fantastic results for all our clients.”
Rashmi Parmar, director of retail property management in the real estate team at Capita’s property and infrastructure business, said: “Peter brings with him an excellent track record within retail management – and his experience and regional expertise will prove a real asset to the team.”
Peter’s appointment is effective immediately and he will be based in Edinburgh.
