Jack Thomas, Civil Engineering Apprentice at Capita property and infrastructure has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year at the 2016 Generation4Change North East Awards.
Jack joined Capita in 2013 and has proved to be an extremely dynamic member of the team assisting in the management of an array of schemes from delivering flood alleviation to major highway projects.
David Wall, Design Business Manager for Highways Design & Major Projects at Capita said; “Jack has demonstrated that he has an inquisitive nature and is keen to learn new civil engineering principles and techniques. We are delighted he has been shortlisted for this award and feel it shows that hard work and effort is recognised in the industry”.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony which is being held on Friday 1st April 2016 at the Hilton NewcastleGateshead.
