Peter McGettrick has been promoted to divisional director of Management North to help maintain its high performance and continued expansion.
From the Capita Property and Infrastructure’s Glasgow office, Peter will be leading a team of over 230 professional staff providing locally based services in project management, cost management, building surveying, health and safety and construction design and management services across Scotland, the Midlands and the North of England. He takes on a strong client base and range of interesting projects including One New Bailey, New Engineering Campus for the University of Manchester, Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust and Genesis Housing Association’s frameworks.
Peter’s previous role as director of health and safety for Capita Property and Infrastructure saw him direct several high profile projects including Access to Work Assessment Contract for DWP and the London Borough of Barnet outsourced contract while also managing over 100 staff across the UK in a number of health and safety businesses.
Peter said: “I’m thrilled to be taking on this role at such an interesting time for the property and infrastructure in the North. The rebalancing of the economy that’s begun though the Northern Powerhouse will see over £13bn worth of planned investments spent on place based infrastructure and I’m focused on making Capita Property and Infrastructure a central part of that positive change.”
