Capita Real Estate and Infrastructure has today appointed Deborah McLaughlin as managing director of its real estate projects business, which focuses on the delivery of clients' programmes and projects through both project management and design phases.

Deborah has been promoted to the senior leadership team of Capita’s Real Estate and Infrastructure business from her previous role as head of GL Hearn in Manchester. David Spencer, managing director at Capita Real Estate and Infrastructure, said: “Promoting Deborah to this role, signals our clear intent to bring together the very best people and skills to help our clients create the value and deliver the projects they need to achieve their goals. Our clients are keen to access the wide range of skills they need easily and flexibly. We are creating a much closer working relationship across our teams to respond to these requests. I am looking forward to working with Deborah and all the leadership team to develop this important aspect of our business.”

Deborah added: “I am really excited to be leading such an important part of Capita. The team has a strong reputation for delivering great real estate projects and I look forward to leading the team to our next phase of growth. Clients tell me they want a team on the ground that provides a coordinated range of disciplines to meet their needs and has a reputation for excellence. I am confident our new team will build on our excellent reputation in advisory and planning and bring together our world class skills in project and cost management and deliver the highest quality of service for our clients.”
