GL Hearn's LandAid quiz raises money to help end youth homelessness
On Tuesday 7th November, teams from the property world took part in the LandAid Quiz organised by LandAid ambassadors from GL Hearn, part of Capita Plc. 22 teams gathered at Patch in St Paul’s to compete for the first prize trophy and to raise money for LandAid, who help provide safe, suitable and affordable accommodation which brings young people out of the cycle of homelessness and gives them a positive future.
Joyce Ncube, Surveyor and LandAid Ambassador, said “fantastic effort from all of our ambassadors – Daniella Marrocco, Dominic Moore, Kelly Mann, Lottie Smallwood and Stuart Baillie, our quiz master for the evening. We really enjoyed organising such a brilliant event, but more importantly we are so pleased to have raised money for LandAid and this extremely worthwhile cause - to end youth homelessness”
This year we have raised around £2,700. With such a fantastic turn out and a strong sense of competitive instinct kicking in to avoid the wooden spoon, the teams battled it out over the seven rounds with congratulations going to the GL Hearn Planning Team for being crowned the winners of the evening.
