Congratulations to Tim Healey, Director of Civil Engineers in Capita’s East Grinstead office he was presented the prestigious Greatest Individual Contribution to Civil Engineering Award by the Institution of Civil Engineers South East at a ceremony in the Grand Hotel Brighton on Thursday 27 July. TV presenter Maggie Philbin reading the award citation said “Throughout his career he has exemplified what it is to be a Civil Engineer and how to promote and nurture the profession and the people working in the industry. He consistently found time to mentor staff irrespective of the challenges of his ‘day job’”

Tim has worked for Capita and its forbearers for the vast majority of his long career and through that time he has worked in over 20 countries and has held prominent roles in some of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects including latterly HS2 and Crossrail. This award is well deserved for someone who has done so much for the Civil Engineering profession, in supporting others on their professional journey and in helping Capita succeed in delivering technical excellence, and surpassing client expectations.

John Evans, Head of Water Engineering comments “When we are recognised for what we do it’s great, but it’s even better when our colleagues are recognised for their contribution to their profession and supporting others. So it’s fantastic news that Tim Healey from our infrastructure team was awarded greatest Individual contribution award by the ICE South East last night!”
