Capita Real Estate and Infrastructure is delighted to welcome Peter George as its Environmental Business Director. A Chartered Environmentalist with nearly 30 years in consultancy, Peter will lead the Environment, Landscape and Ecology team. He has successfully delivered projects across the UK and overseas. Peter is also currently Chair of IEMA’s Impact Assessment Network steering group, where he is involved in advocacy and developing best practice.
During his career, he has led multi-disciplinary teams delivering Environmental Impact Assessments and related projects for a wide range of clients including Transport for London, HS2, Crossrail 2, local authorities, private developers and charitable trusts. His experience covers multiple sectors including; highways, rail, aviation, waste, water and property.
On his appointment, Peter said, “I am delighted to be joining Capita’s Real Estate and Infrastructure team. Capita’s commitment to the highest standards in environment, landscape and ecology is clear in the quality of its work and I am keen to start working with colleagues and clients on a wide range of projects. It’s an exciting time for the Environment business with opportunities to develop new and enhanced services for Capita’s clients.”
