With over 17 years’ experience in engineering consultancy, Alistair leads project delivery for our HS2 contracts.
A Chartered Civil Engineer, his experience covers research, design, and design management on major transportation infrastructure projects. He has worked at all stages of the design process but specialises in leading large multi-disciplinary teams to deliver concept, feasibility, and reference designs.
Alistair has held senior design management positions on significant projects including Crossrail, Melbourne Metro, and London Underground Bank Station upgrade. Since 2012, has led multi-disciplinary teams delivering Hybrid Bill designs for 3 sections of HS2 in both Phase 1 (London Metropolitan and Country North sections) and Phase 2b.
Alistair has been recognised for his leadership skills through a number of industry awards, and is an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, having been a member of the ICE Council. Currently an ICE Reviewer and Vice-Chair of the Professional Review Panel.
