Allan Cox BSc(Hons) MA CMLI
Allan is a chartered member of the Landscape Institute and brings with him over twenty five years’ experience in private practice. Prior to joining Capita, he was the UK director of landscape architecture and discipline head at Broadway Malyan and previously the principal landscape architect for Atkins in their Manchester office.
Allan has been responsible for the successful delivery of a number of important landscape and public realm projects including Imperial Wharf in London for St George, featuring London’s first riverside public park in fifty years; and the transformational public realm improvements for Hemel Hempstead’s High Street for the local council.
In recent years, Allan has specialised in large-scale urban extensions and new settlements, providing advice on masterplanning, green infrastructure, open space / play strategy, and landscape and visual impact issues for a range of private sector developers across the UK.
He enjoys mentoring junior professionals and is an examiner for the Landscape Institute’s chartership exam.
