David has over 35 years’ experience as a planning professional and delay analyst working predominantly in the construction and engineering industry.
David began his career as a planning engineer with construction contractors following graduating in construction engineering in 1978. His first appointment as an expert witness was in 1989, where he used innovative network techniques to analyse project delays. David is now an experienced expert witness in adjudication, arbitration and litigation, including on international matters and under cross-examination by senior counsel.
David’s academic and professional qualifications reflect his dedication and he has developed a number of techniques, in particular time impact analysis, that have become adopted as industry standards. David co-authored the text book 'Handbook for Construction Planning and Scheduling', published by Wiley Blackwell in 2014.
