Mark is an Associate Director within the Environment team, with over 20 years’ experience in the water industry and in particular flood risk management.
He undertakes the role of Business Development Manager and has a passion for offering clients an outstanding service.
He has undertaken the role of Project Manager or Project Director on a large number of Flood Risk Management Projects for various clients and has been involved in projects at all stages, from Initial Assessment/Pre-Feasibility stage, through Business Case (PAR and OBC), Detailed Design and Construction Supervision/ ECC Project Management.
Notable projects, that successfully went from Business Case to Construction completion include, St Ives & The Hemingfords FAS protecting over 1,300 properties, Wisbech FDS, which protected over 10,000 properties, Godmanchester FAS that protected over 500 properties and Tilbury East Dock Sewer, tidal sluice replacement that protected over 4,000 properties.
Mark has also worked with Highways England identifying how flood risk benefits can be achieved on multi-million pound highways infrastructure projects, with little or no additional cost.
