Martin Kelly is a qualified Landscape Architect and Urban Designer and is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute, Fellow of the Institute of Highways and Transportation and Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
Following three years in the public sector, Martin joined Derek Lovejoy Partnership (now Capita) in 1979, where he became a Partner in 1986 and Managing Director in 1996. During this time, he has specialised in environmental land planning for major landmark projects on behalf of public and private sector promoters in the UK and overseas. Martin is the Chairman and Founder of the Trees and Design Action Group (TDAG) and Chair of the TDAG Trust.
Martin has been responsible for the successful delivery of a wide range of Land Planning Studies in the International market. These include major Infrastructure, Resort Developments and Urban Regeneration in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. These projects include Site Delivery on the London 2012 Olympics; Formula 1 Racetrack Masterplan Mumbai; Euro Disney Paris; Southampton Container Terminal; Middle Eastern Leisure Resorts; Gose Island Resort Albania; Terminal 5 Heathrow and many others.
Martin chaired the Landscape and Urban Design workshop for the Farrell Review into Architecture and the Built Environment undertaken at the request of the Government.
