Paul has over 32 years of experience and is a Chartered Professional with a degree in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Contaminated Land Management. He is also a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner.
In the early part of his career, Paul was involved in the delivery of major public-sector sewerage schemes for Carlisle City Council. Since then, his focus has been on delivering a wide variety of physical regeneration and infrastructure projects for a wide variety of public and private sector clients. He joined the Capita Real estate and infrastructure team in 2001.
Paul has 15 years’ experience of managing and providing strong procedural control to large multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex and often inter-related projects. Over the past 10 years, he has also fulfilled numerous Project Director and Framework Management roles.
Paul is accountable to the REI Executive Board for the performance of teams across England and Wales. Prior to this, he was a Director with responsibility for the performance of our engineering, environmental and transportation business, comprising of 120 staff, located in Carlisle, North Tyneside, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
