Paul is accountable to the Infrastructure Board for the performance of approaching 170 staff across England and Wales.
Prior to this he was a Director with responsibility for the performance of our engineering, environmental and transportation business, comprising of 120 staff, located in Carlisle, North Tyneside, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Paul has over 32 years of relevant experience. He is a Chartered Professional with a degree in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Contaminated Land Management. He is also a PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner. The early part of his career involved the delivery of major public-sector sewerage schemes for Carlisle City Council. Since then, his focus has been on delivering a wide variety of physical regeneration and infrastructure projects for a wide variety of public and private sector clients. He has worked for Capita since 2001.
Paul has 15 years’ experience of managing and providing strong procedural control to large multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex and often inter-related projects. Over the past 10 years he has fulfilled numerous Project Director and Framework Management roles.
