Working with the client’s wider global requirements as well as the fit out for this building, the Contract Administration, Design and Workplace Strategy teams collaborated with the client in the design and delivery for this international pharmaceutical research organisation. We engaged with business heads at the early stages of the project in order to establish space requirements, department adjacencies and then compile the required space standards for the project.
In designing and installing bespoke mock up workstations and task chairs from several different manufacturers, Capita ensured wider staff engagement, ensuring that the best products were selected and expectations were managed effectively throughout the process.
We worked closely with the principal contractor from tender through to practical completion, co-ordinating with the project team and external consultants on a regular basis. The construction programme was completed a week early enabling staff to move in to the space in a timely fashion.
