In December 2013, Sussex Community NHS Trust (SCT) entered in to a five-year strategic relationship with Capita - the first of its kind in the health market - it aims to identify efficiencies and better ways of working and accelerate the pace which improvements can be achieved.
SCT is the largest provider of community based services in the South East, delivering services to the West Sussex and Brighton areas; it has three main objectives:
Capita is helping SCT identify efficiencies and deliver great clinical care; we bring our commercial experience and know-how to the partnership, working alongside the SCT management team, rather than as a traditional supplier.
The Trust no longer has to tender for each piece of work it identifies, we will work side by side for the five year duration of the contract.
