Supporting STEM at Capita

We understand the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the work that we do. We have over 60 STEM Ambassadors who volunteer their time to help support students in their local communities to understand the value of STEM disciplines and share their experiences of the exciting projects that you can get involved in through this career path.

Our ambassadors work closely with schools and colleges across the country to present and deliver hands on activities to bridge the long standing STEM skills shortage across the UK.

We are particularly committed to encouraging women to take up STEM subjects at GCSE level and into further education to enable them to embark on STEM related careers. We are proud to be members of WISE, an organisation that campaigns for gender balance in science, technology and engineering, championed by executive sponsor, Graham Sant, Managing Director of Infrastructure Projects
