An apprenticeship is an exciting way to start your career with us. Many of our apprentices continue on to study for a HNC/D or degree in their chosen discipline and become a fully qualified professional.
Each year we recruit a number of technical and administrative apprentices, typically in the following areas:
• Building services engineering;
• Building surveying;
• Business administration;
• Civil engineering;
• General practice surveying;
• Quantity surveying;
• Project management.
We support our apprentices to achieve national academic and professional qualifications as well as providing valuable hands on experience on real, live projects.
If you are keen to get some understanding of the property and infrastructure industry, we can provide you with a unique experience and insight into some exciting projects.

School or college work experience placements
We link up with local schools to offer work experience opportunities. This is ideal for pupils looking to gain an insight into the world of work and understand what a specific job entails.
We offer summer placements for students who are studying towards relevant certificates, diplomas or degrees, helping you to put your skills into a real life business context. The benefits include transferable workplace skills, practical knowledge to boost your coursework and the opportunity to improve your CV for the future.
A year-out placement offers you the opportunity to undertake work experience that will complement your undergraduate studies. There is the potential to offer you a sponsorship package, which can support you financially, during the final stages of your course and/or a position to join us on completion of your studies.
All work experience placements are overseen by our individual offices. Please contact your local office to enquire about work experience and internships. You will need to submit a copy of your CV and a covering letter to the appropriate office.
We also have a strategic partnership with Excitech, to deliver our AutoCAD and BIM training needs to enhance the skills of our technicians and engineers.
