Water and Environmental Management

What to expect

We provide a supportive environment which enables our graduates to develop their skills and achieve their full potential. Our aim is to provide a structured and monitored training programme so that you  can achieve professional membership of CIWEM and Engineering Council qualifications as soon as you are ready and able to contribute appropriately to the delivery of high quality services to our clients.

You may complete rotations and work in a number of different departments which typically include water and wastewater engineering, hydrology and water resources, contaminated land, air quality and environmental noise teams, although this is not an exhaustive list.

You will also be allocated a mentor who will be a Chartered Member or Fellow of CIWEM who will guide your progress and help you set personal objectives to support you in your career. Capita recognise the value of CPD and will support graduates of CIWEM in relevant CPD activities. Each office has their own calendar of CPD events delivered by internal and external presenters.

What we expect from you

  • Ownership of your candidate role on the Pathway to Chartership
  • Actively participate with the business and share knowledge
  • Take advantage for the CPD and CIWEM events
  • Ask questions and contribute!
